Duration:
The Mental Health first aid course runs over two consecutive days.
Who is this course for?:
This course is suitable for any individual over 16 years of age wanting a formal qualification in Mental Health First Aid.
It is recommended that every organisation has at least one qualified Mental Health First Aider.
Course aim:
The aim of this Mental Health course is to equip delegates to become certificated Mental Health First Aiders
Assessment takes place through a range of methods including practical and questioning (open and multiple-choice)
Certification:
A Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health, subject to successful assessment. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement.
It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner will need to complete the full course again to requalify for a further three years.
